REPORT OPTION.  The option to export only email addresses has been added to the Aircraft export options.  Select the required aircraft and/or company relationship.  When the list appears click the Export/Report button.  Select the Unique Company/Contact EMail Address Export option.  The default export will only export email addresses related to the company.  There is an option to add email addresses from the contact related to the aircraft or all contacts at that company.  All duplicate email addresses will be removed.

JETNET LLC, the market-leading aircraft research and information provider, will be launching a series of improvements to their flagship software interface, Evolution. This update to the program will take place on December 1, 2009.  Some of the new features are as follows:

1. Direct links to ARGUS data from JETNET’s Evolution service pages

2. SMS Text Messaging service for LIVE subscribers to receive instant notices when model or market updates are made to JETNET’s database. The messaging service, like other recent improvements, will be offered free of charge to LIVE subscription clients. 

3. Set of “Views,” or summary pages, that gather data points from throughout the Evolution program and compile these into single screens of well organized lists, graphs and tables for easy assessment of marketplace status and trends. The Views package complements the popular Evolution interface rather than replacing it.  Existing JETNET clients should adapt easily to the new interface, 

4. One-page specification page that will be personalized with your company information. 
 
5. Local "notes" indicator from an aircraft listing.  

6. Access to the JETNET statistical Analysis reports "STAR". 

Look for the "HOME" tab once you have logged into Evolution and you know you have the latest release.

AIRCRAFT DETAILS PAGE PREVIOUS/NEXT BUTTONS  The Aircraft Details page now has a previous and next button to display the next aircraft in the search list.  This feature is available from an Aircraft listing, History listing and the Events listing.  Clicking any serial number will display the Aircraft Details page, now click the previous or next button and the Aircraft Details page will display the previous or next aircraft listed.

AIRCRAFT LISTING TAG RECORDS WITH LOCAL NOTES If local notes are turned on, then turning on this option tags the aircraft listed, on a search result, with a notes icon  , indicating which aircraft have notes attached.  This feature can be found by clicking the Preferences button and in the preferences page [x] Enable Local Notes Database Search.  Note: If you have a very large notes database and the display number of records per page is set high, the aircraft listing page may take longer to display.

AIRCRAFT SEARCH - MULTIPLE SELECTIONS.  On the Aircraft Tab, the following search criteria pull downs, now support multiple selections.  MARKET, OWNERSHIP and LIFECYCLE
The expanded windows for the three (3) pull downs now enable you to select multiples by allowing you to click on your first option and then you may use the Ctrl-Click to select more than one option from the pull down. For example, on the MARKET pull down, you can now select both "For Sale/Trade" and "For Sale/Lease".  On the OWNERSHIP pull down, you can select both "Wholly Owned" and "Shared".  The LIFECYCLE pull down allows you to select "In Production" and "New-With MFR".

AUTOMATIC LOGIN OPTION.  To enable this feature simply check the box on the login page [X] Auto Logon to Evolution.    The next time you come to the Evolution login page the system will automatically fill in the required login information and log you in.  This feature will make logging into Evolution easier than ever.  If you are on a non-secure PC it is recommended you do not enable this feature.  To disable this feature go to the preference page and uncheck the option, then save your preferences.  The option [X] Remember Username/Password must also be checked for this feature to work.  Note: The information for this feature is saved in a cookie, if cookies are deleted this feature will be disabled until you re-check the box.

FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS SEARCH.  You now have the ability to search for lenders listed in the "In Favor Of" field in Security Agreements/Amendments, Mortgages, Chattel Mortgages/Amendments, Fractional Security Agreements and Hypothecation Agreements filed with the FAA.  The Aircraft Tab now has a check box in the "Advanced Criteria" area labeled "Financial Documents". Checking this box and clicking "Get Criteria" gives you a pull-down to choose which of the top 25 aircraft financing institutions you want to search.  This search will result in a list of aircraft with an FAA financial document that meets your criteria.

Relationship to Aircraft Preference Setting.  By default the selection for 'Relationship to Aircraft' has been set to 'All Owner(s)'.  All Owner(s) refer to Owner/Fractional Owner/Program Holder/Co-Owner/Co-Owning Company.  This setting also reflects what companies will be displayed on the listing screen after a search is done.  On the Preferences page there is now a way to change this default setting.  Start by checking [x] Company Demographics then click Get Criteria.  When the Company Demographics criteria is displayed, select those 'Relationship to Aircraft' items you want.  Now click the 'Preferences' button above the tab row.  To enable this feature click  the check box ' Enable Default Feature [x]'  Your current default settings are listed along with the setting currently selected in the 'Relationship to Aircraft' pull down.  Click the radio button for the one you want to set as default, then click the 'Save These Preferences' button at the bottom of the page.  To change this setting, just repeat the process, select the references you want, check the proper radio button, click 'Save These Preferences'.  When this feature is enabled, every time you login or click the 'Clear All' button the 'Relationship to Aircraft' listbox will be filled in with your selections.

AIRCRAFT SEARCH - FEATURE CODE.  The feature code searching has been changed to allow an inclusion of those feature codes with an Unknown status.  The radio buttons for Yes, No have been changed to check boxes for Yes, No, Unknown.  Any combination of the three can be selected.  If none are selected, that feature code search is ignored.  The example below would find all aircraft where the Feature Code TAW equals Yes or Unknown.

MARKET SUMMARY DATE RANGE SEARCH.  The following search feature has been added to the Market Summaries.  Select the type of summary report you wanted, Monthly Quarterly or Yearly.  Then select the Start Date of the report and the display range.  Monthly data goes back to Oct/1989, Quarterly and Yearly reports go back to 1990.

AIRCRAFT REPORT.  The following report has been added to the Aircraft Tab.
"Full Aircraft Record Blind Form w/SerNbr" . This report displays the full aircraft details for every aircraft in the search results without any company identifying information. This report does contain the Aircraft Serial and Registration Numbers.

Cost of Operations Export.  The export option to Excel now supports all formulas required to  re-calculate non edited (red) fields.  This will allow you to make specific changes, such as fuel costs, hangar costs, insurance and have the formulas re-calculate the totals automatically.

MAKE and MODEL Pull Down Selection.  This selection process has been re-worked to allow the saving of the selected criteria when making additional choices in the higher categories.  You can now select, Jets, Citation, V,  then go back and Ctrl-Click the Turbos, King Air, B200 and your original selection of the Citation V will remain.  Remember to use the Ctrl-Click to save your criteria.  A single click will still remove all selections for the new one.
In addition when multiple Makes have been selected a make abbreviation code will appear next to the model.  This will help in identifying the difference between a Conquest II and a Citation II.

AIRCRAFT REPORT.  The following report has been added to the Aircraft Tab.
"Aircraft Comparison Report".  This report will export aircraft information, in a side-by-side comparison using Excel.  This report will process up to 50 aircraft records for comparison.

New Aircraft Upgrade Report.   Evolution customers now have a great new report that shows the 5 top aircraft an End User is most likely to upgrade too.  This static report, created monthly, will show all make/models and up to 5 aircraft, percentage of upgrades and for-sale percentages, at the time the report was created.  This report is compiled monthly from all End User transactions.  The link to this report can be found on the Market Summary Tab.

 EMail Request Service.   A new and exciting EMail Request Service has been created.   The new service supports the need for information when you do not have access to your Evolution system or need information on Mobile devices such as a Blackberry, Palm Pilot or IPaq, even a cell phone with text based email can receive information now.  If the device can receive email, it can now receive Evolution information.

Any active Evolution subscription can use this service.  To activate this service, go to the preference page and enter your EMail Name, EMail Address and the format, HTML or TEXT, you prefer to receive your reports in.  Most mobile devices use TEXT based email while Hotmail, Yahoo and Outlook can receive HTML type emails.  The information is the same between the two formats, however, HTML offers the use of color and better formatting techniques.  In addition to format, certain fields are hyperlinked to help in requesting additional information.  These reports have been specifically created to be viewed on small screened devices.

The system is very easy to use:

  First Step:  Enter your email name and email address into the preference page and save it.  This must be the reply email address you send the request from.  If the system can not match the reply email address with one attached to an active Evolution subscription, the request will not be processed.

  Second Step:   Send an email to request@jetnet.com with the request type entered in the subject of the email.  Example:  subject:  sn:560-0001  This will request an aircraft record for serial number 560-0001 to be created and sent back to you.  That's all there is to it.

 There are six ( 6) report types plus two help files that may be requested.  You can request information by Serial Number or Registration Number.  There is a for-sale listing along with an airport listing.  Performance and Cost of Operations information can also be requested.

  You may override your default email format setting by entering the word HTML or TEXT in the body of the email.  This will force the system to return the email using that type of output instead of your default email type.

City and Zip Code Searching.   These two search fields now support multiple entries and wildcards, separated by a comma.

Example:  
To search for zip codes beginning in 135 and for a zip code 94705 you would enter. 135*,94705   

To search for cities beginning with the word Las and for the city of Chicago you would enter
Las*,Chicago.  This works for the Company city and zip code as well as the Airport Base city.

Company Tab/Search.   The module has been completely reworked and new code put into place for faster access when clicking on the "Companies" tab.  JETNET also reworked the existing Contact Title/Group that is available for use under the Aircraft and History tabs by checking Company Demographics and getting criteria selection located in the ADVANCED CRITERIA selection.  The Contact Title/Group is on the main screen of the Companies module.

We have developed a Contact Title Group and affiliated the contact title with each group.  You have the option of selecting All Admininistration, Finance, Flight Operations, Maintenance, Miscellaneous, Sales and Marketing. The titles of each person who is part of the selected group will be highlighted.  You can select more than one group by using the Ctrl-Click or you can unselect any title using the same method.

COMPANY SEARCH FLEET OWNERSHIP.  You now have the ability to search company records based on fleet ownership, number of aircraft a company operates, has shares in or total fractional ownership.  The Companies tab now has a field called Fleet (Owner/Operator).  Example: To find the companies that Owned more than 10 aircraft. Using the "Selection" list box, select "'Owner",  then the "Condition" list box select "Greater Than" and finally in the value field enter 10.  The search results will give you all Company records where that company owns more than 10 aircraft.  

The Fractional Search counts are based on total percentage owned.  What that means is if a company owns 2 fractions one at 6.25% and one at 12% they have a total of 18.25% of an aircraft.  If you search for Fractional Owner equal to 1 you are asking for any company where their fractions add up to a total of 100% of an aircraft.  You can ask for companies that own a total of 50% or less of an aircraft by using the between  .01:.50  The value field will accept decimal values.   Notice I used the between rather than the less than.  Less than .50 would include those companies owning zero percent.

AIRCRAFT SEARCH ALT-SER-NBR. The Aircraft serial number search now includes both the current serial number and the alternate serial number field.  Example: Searching for serial number 550-0270 will find the aircraft 551-0313 because the alternate serial number for that aircraft is 550-0270.  This will help you to find aircraft that have had a serial number change and you are still trying to reference the old serial number.

AIRCRAFT SEARCH PREVIOUSLY OWNED. You now have the ability to search JETNET's data based on the status of an aircraft being Previously Owned. The industry definition of "Previously Owned" is defined as an aircraft that has had more than one owner. If the aircraft is NOT "Previously Owned", it is still with the original purchaser when it was sold from the manufacturer. Therefore, the owner is considered the original owner for as long as they retain ownership of that aircraft. Length of ownership is not taken into account in setting this status.

HISTORY/EVENT REPORT.  The following report has been added to the History and Event Tabs.  "Aircraft Seller/Purchaser Report".  This report can be exported to Excel, ASCii (Comma and Tab Delimited) formats.  It contains Aircraft, Seller and Purchaser information.  From the Events tab the event must be related to a transaction.  Example: A change in asking price is NOT related to a transaction so this report would skip over that event when exporting.

Sale Pending to Immediate is generated when the status of the aircraft goes from Sale Pending back to Immediate.  This indicates that a "Sale" is no longer pending and the aircraft is again immediately "For Sale".

EVENT EMAIL ALERTER.   Evolution "Live" subscribers now have an exciting new feature added to the Events tab.  The ability of having JETNET email you events, based on your search criteria, as they happen.  Simply create an Event project, give it a subject, time frame, enter your name and email address, then save it.  JETNET will pickup that project, run it based on the time frame entered, and if any Events match your criteria, send you an email listing those events.  The project will be re-run based on that same time frame and as Events match your criteria, additional emails will be sent.  

Example:  Click on the events tab and select Citation, III, Event Type Category="Market Status", Type="All".  Date/Time Range 30 minutes.  Now click the Projects button.  Give the project a name and description, such as "Citation III Market Status Events".  Just above the "Save As New Project" button, enter your name and email address.  Then click "Save As New Project".  What will happen next is JETNET will process this project every 30 minutes and if any new Events match your criteria you will receive an email.  

There are two ways to stop a project from emailing you. Delete the project or load the project in the Project Management window and clear out your name and email address, then click Save.  If there is no name or email address, JETNET will not process that project.

AIRCRAFT LIST SORTING.  The basic aircraft listing has had the headers changed to allow additional sorting on key fields.  The "For Sale" field has been split into "Status", "Price", "Delivery" and "Date Listed".  Now each of these headers can be sorted based on there specific value.

AIRCRAFT SEARCH PENDING ENGINE OVERHAUL.  You now have the ability to search based on engines coming close to overhaul time.  This feature is part of the "Aircraft Specs", additional criteria, on the Aircraft tab.  Enter the amount of time left on the engines before overhaul is required.  This time is subtracted from the time between overhauls (TBO) and then compared to either the since major overhaul times (SMOH) or the engine total times in cases where the engines have never been overhauled.  If that value is less then or equal the hours entered, it will appear on the listing.  There is a check box for "[x] Do Not Include Overdue".  If engines are already over due, for an overhaul, they can be ignored or included based on this check box.  Note: when a value is entered in the hours field, the Market status is automatically changed to "For-Sale".  Due to the research process used for acquiring this information, this search is best performed on for-sale aircraft only.

AIRCRAFT DETAILS SEARCH.  You now have the ability to search the additional aircraft details information.  There are a number of types and subtypes that fall into this category.  Listed below are the searchable categories.  This feature is part of the “Aircraft Specs”, additional criteria, on the Aircraft tab.  There are three levels of searching that can be done.  The "Type" level, all Citation III's with information on "Addl Cockpit Equipment", if the sub type and description are left default this will find aircraft that have any information entered under that type.  The more information that is entered the more restrictive the search becomes.  The description field is a wild card search.  Example: If you select Citation, III's, Aircraft Detail Type "Maintenance", Sub Type "Inspection", Description "RVSM" this will find all Citation III aircraft that have "RVSM" entered somewhere in a Maintenance Inspection field.

AIRCRAFT SEARCH.  You now have the ability to search based on the month the aircraft was purchased.   This feature is part of the "Additional Parameters", additional criteria, on the Aircraft tab and the History tab.  Enter the month to search for in "mm" format. Example, 7=July.  This will find all aircraft purchased in the month of July for all years.  Export the results to Excel or click on the Summary button and let Evolution provide the mini market summary.

CONTACT GROUP TITLE.  The current title selection is over 400 distinct titles.  In order to help organize them they have been group into 6 categories.  This makes finding a specific title a lot easier as it limits the entries in the pull down.  Searching can also be done by selecting a group.  Example: All companies in the state of CA where a contact has a title belonging to the "Flight Operations" group.  To view a list of all titles that are assigned to each group click on the group names listed in the table below.

PROJECTS.  The ability to save and reload search criteria has been added to the Evolution system.  These saved project files allow the user to setup complex search criteria, give it a unique name, save it, then later recall it whenever they are needed.  These project files are unique to each TAB search.  Those projects saved for the Aircraft tab do not apply to the Events tab so they won't be seen.  However any search criteria that is common to both tabs will carry over.  Example: You have a project for the Aircraft that searches all the Astra's for sale.  That project is loaded and then you click on the Events tab.  The aircraft for-sale criteria does not apply to the events tab however the selection of Astra's does so it will carry over.  The project system also supports setting one project, from any tab, to be considered the default project.  When a project is set to default and the user first logs into Evolution that project will automatically be loaded and that tab activated.  At anytime you may see which project is set to default by clicking on the Preferences button.  If a project has been set to default there will be a line stating: "Note: Your Default Project is Aircraft Tab - Aircraft All Astra's For Sale"

The "Advanced Search" button has been replaced with an options panel for selecting which advanced search criteria is needed.   Using the check boxes to indicate the  search options required then click the "Get Criteria" button to display those search options.  By only displaying those options, required by the user, the page is easier to read and will repaint faster.  

Use the "Select All" button if you want to display all advanced search criteria.  Click "Clear All" to remove the advanced search criteria and display only the basic search options.

ENGINE MAINTENANCE/MANAGEMENT AND AIRFRAME MAINTENANCE/TRACKING. New to the Aircraft "Advanced Search" and under the "AIRCRAFT SPECS" block, JETNET has added the following search criteria:

Engine Maintenance Program = EMP
Engine Management Program = EMGP
Airframe Maintenance Program = AMP
Airframe Maintenance Tracking Program = AMTP

This search will allow you to select the "Program Provider" and "Program Name" for any or all of the above-mentioned programs.

ADDITIONAL PARAMETERS.  New to the “Advanced Search”, under the additional parameters in the Aircraft tab, you will find a "field" for Fraction Expiration Date.  This will allow narrowing down the focus of your search by finding those aircraft based on when the Fractional Share is to expire.  The resulting list will also be limited to display only those fractional companies that fall within the criteria entered.  If an aircraft has ten fractional owners but only two fall within your requested search then only those two companies will be displayed with that aircraft.

HISTORY LISTING.  On Fractional Transactions the field % Sold will contain the percentage of the fraction sold.  This data is currently available on fractional transaction records dated after 11/19/2001.

NEW AIRCRAFT MAKE/MODEL.  The following new Aircraft make/model's have been added.  The aircraft records will soon follow.
Global 5000-Build by Bombardier, it's maiden flight was on March 7,2003. Now in certification for both the FAA and JAA. First delivery is expected in the 1st quarter of 2004.

Learjet 40- A smaller version of the Lear 45, this aircraft is going through certification now. Initial customer deliveries expected in the third quarter of 2003

Hawker 400XP- This aircraft will replace the Beechjet 400A starting with serial number RK-354. Many of Beechjet's optional equipment will now be offered as standard on the Hawker 400XP with an additional 200lbs weight increase.

Business Express- This is a version of the Boeing 717 available as a corporate jet. The aircraft can be configured to seat from 40 to 80 passengers and with additional fuel tanks have a range of 3140 nautical mile range.

AIRCRAFT SEARCH.  The Serial Number search now supports a range of serial numbers.  This search allows the user to key in two serial numbers and all aircraft that fall within that range will be displayed.  There are two basic types of searches that can be done, a character based search or a numeric search.  Searching by character involves the entire serial number string.  Example: Searching for "550-0001 to 550-0020".  This will do a basic character search on the entire serial number field.  This examples finds 16 aircraft records.  If any character is entered that is not numeric, note the hyphen, then a character based search is done.  If just numeric data is entered then the system searches on the value of the base serial number.  Example: Searching for "1 to 20" will find all aircraft that have a base serial number with in that numeric range.  This example finds 1,564 aircraft records.  When doing a numeric serial number search and the aircraft's base serial number contains characters those records are ignored.  A list of aircraft serial number formats based on make/model can be seen at the following link: Master List Make/Model Serial Number Formats

CONTINENT/REGION.    The demographics have been redesigned to include a continent/region search.  Select "Advanced Search" under the Aircraft tab and located under the AIRCRAFT BASE box and the Company Demographics box you will have a selection for Continent...Region.  The Continent...Region selection is also available from the Companies tab.  Using this feature under the Aircraft tab can, for example, find All Citation III's, For Sale, based in the Mid-West; or, all Gulfstream's where the Owner is in Eastern Europe.  From the Companies tab, you can find all Dealer/Brokers on the East Coast, USA.

AVIONICS.  You now have the ability to search by “Avionics”.  This feature is part of the “Advanced Search” on the Aircraft tab.  The field is located underneath the “Aircraft Base".  You can search for two different avionics.  Using the pull downs, select the avionic to search on.  Then key in the description of that avionic(s).  This is a wild card search.  Example: Citation, III's with Avionic "Weather Radar" Description "Color".   Will find the word "Color" in any of the Weather Radar avionics.

ENGINE MODEL SEARCH.  You now have the ability to search by “Engine Model.”  This feature is part of the “Advanced Search” on the Aircraft tab.  The field is located underneath the “Additional Parameters.  You can now enter multiple values (with a comma between each value) for specific engines.  For example, TFE, JT15D will find all aircraft with an engine model prefix starting with TFE or JT15D.  

This list is the first part of the engine model number as it appears on Evolution.  To do a search by engine model number a user must type in part or all of the number in this format.  To do a specific engine model search additional characters may be added.

SERIAL NUMBER SEARCH.  When searching for a serial number, the program will ignore the serial number prefix.  The search will get aircraft where the serial number the user types in matches the serial number exactly or if there is more than one aircraft with that serial number it will bring you to a list of aircraft that has that number in its serial number.   For example: Type = Jet…Make=All…Model=All.  Serial Number is 168.  You will receive a listing of 15 aircraft containing the number “168” within its serial number.  
03/07/2003 WEIGHT CLASS.  Under the “simple search” aircraft tab, you will find we have added an aircraft search criteria by “Weight Class.”  The model level defines this.  We have also added this information to the “Aircraft Model Information” window.  This new criteria will help provide you a search by the classification of Light; Medium; Heavy on our Jet/Turboprop/Piston/Executive aircraft.  This should be beneficial for looking for aircraft that meet the security standards for the T.S.A. (Transportation Security Administration), which now has regulations on aircraft by weight, i.e., weight restriction for runways, etc.  Ranges are set to the following table:

 IPaq REPORT. Provides the user with the ability from the "Aircraft" module to select the makes/models and search criteria they require and create a report in a format designed for viewing on an iPaq or any PDA that supports HTML. The report will display Aircraft, Company, Contact and Base information. Due to the complex file format, this report is a "SUBMIT TO JETNET" for processing only report. When your report is ready, JETNET will send you an e-mail advising you how to pick-up your file.

 OFF-LINE REPORT.  This report was created for the subscriber who needs to take information with him.  The report is intended to be copied to laptops or other systems that do not have direct access to the Internet.  It can be generated from the “Aircraft” tab and contains Aircraft, Company, Contact and ACBase information.  More fields have been added to this report so that aircraft counts are available, avionics for the aircraft details, all phone numbers for company and associated contacts.

02/12/2003 ADDITIONAL PARAMETERS.  New to the “advanced search”, under the additional parameters in the Aircraft tab, you will find a “field” for SMOH (since major overhaul).  This will allow narrowing down the focus of your search by using any of the nine fields contained in this module.
01/27/2003 SUBMIT REPORTS TO JETNET.  New to the reports module is the addition of the [X] Submit a request for JETNET to run this report parameter.  This feature is not available on all reports but has been made available on reports that may take a significant amount of time to produce due to the content and all the contact information provided in a particular report.   Subscriber will supply their e-mail address and when the report is ready for “pick-up” you will be notified via e-mail on where and how to pick-up your report.
01/22/2003 EVENTS.  You now have the ability to see all “Events” for a specific aircraft from either the EVENTS Tab or from the link "Click Here to List All the Events for this Aircraft" located at the bottom of the Aircraft Information page. 
01/20/2003 LIFECYCLE.  The simple/advanced search under the AIRCRAFT tab now has a Lifecycle selection for:  In Production…New-With MFR…In Operation…Retired…or  All for narrowing down your aircraft search.
